Kirkwood Distillery produces hand-crafted spirits from local ingredients using traditional methods. My spirits all start with Shropshire and Herefordshire grown barley, which is fermented and then distilled to purity. The National Trust has given permission to forage on the Shropshire Hills for locally grown botanicals that are used in my gins and liqueurs.
The quality ingredients and careful attention to detail have paid off with multiple product awards. My Barley Vodka was voted one of the top 5 vodkas in the UK by the London Spirit Awards, and my Hillside Gin won Gold for best new product at the Ludlow Food Festival in 2019.
