How Ian and Louise got into producing Lincoln Longwool Sheep and why they chose this particular product
Ian and Louise started their flock of Lincoln Longwool back in 2004 with 6 ewes and a ram and to their delight the flock has been growing every year. Neither of them came from a farming background but, in their own words, they are proof that where there is the will “the sheep will certainly show you the way”. The Lincoln Longwool is a historic part of Lincolnshire as the counties wool industry was the basis for it’s wealth and so preserving these long traditions as well promoting the Lincoln Longwool sheep, both in terms of its high quality meat and the wool they produce, is an essential part of their lives.

Products that Ian and Louise are offering
Ian and Louise offer a range of cuts from their sheep which are available to buy at their farm shop. They are working on implementing a mail order system for their lamb and hogget and also sell wool and rugs, made from the distinctive fleece of the Lincoln Longwool sheep.
