Having travelled extensively around the Americas and southern Europe, Thomasina’s love of Mexican food was sparked. She went on to complete a course at Ballymaloe where she developed a passion for produce, ingredients and markets.
Since then, she has won the title of Masterchef, has worked at Petersham Nurseries under Skye Gyngell and now runs Wahaca which takes up most of her time.
She is also the author of MEXICAN FOOD MADE SIMPLE and WAHACA MEXICAN FOOD AT HOME published by Hodder & Stoughton. Her most recent TV series, MEXICAN FOOD MADE SIMPLE, aired on Channel 5 throughout July and August 2011.
