We receive a very high volume of academic requests — often several each week — for interviews, research support, and project input.
To manage this demand responsibly, we have established a policy that ensures our time and resources are used effectively while supporting genuine independent research.
We are committed to assisting rigorous academic work.
If you are a university-based researcher, or conducting academic research at postgraduate level or above, we will always do our best to support you.
However, we will always ask who is funding your research. If the funder has a vested interest in a particular outcome, we will respectfully decline participation. While researchers may assert full independence, multiple meta‑studies across disciplines show that research funded by parties with a stake in the outcome is statistically more likely to produce findings favourable to the funder than research supported by independent sources.
We regret that we are unable to provide interviews or input for undergraduate projects.
