Madeira Wine Harvest Festival Live | Festa das Vindimas 2026
Join Sean live from Estreito de Câmara de Lobos for one of Madeira’s most colourful rural celebrations, the Festa das Vindimas.
We will experience the atmosphere of Madeira’s grape harvest celebrations, follow the colourful Cortejo Etnográfico, meet Chef Duarte and members of the Confraria Enogastronómica da Madeira, and continue towards the traditional Pisa e Repisa grape stomping.
This is a wonderful opportunity to experience Madeira’s wine culture, gastronomy and rural traditions live from the island.

Porto da Cruz & Madeira Rum Live | Engenhos do Norte
Join Sean live from Porto da Cruz on Madeira’s northeast coast for a journey through Madeira rum, sugarcane heritage, local food traditions and Atlantic landscapes.
We plan to begin above the village with panoramic views towards Penha d’Águia, continue through Porto da Cruz and visit the historic Engenhos do Norte sugarcane mill and rum distillery.
We will discover Madeira agricultural rum, learn more about the island’s sugarcane heritage, enjoy a rum tasting, explore Porto da Cruz’s relaxed surf culture and sample the local tradition of gaiado seco with vinho seco before finishing beside the Atlantic.
For us, this is a wonderful example of how a destination can be understood through its agriculture, local producers, food traditions and landscape.
