Created eleven years ago, the Slow Food Awards winners are nominated by the public. Each winner is a champion of good, clean and fair food and represents the very best of their craft.
In addition to the public vote, each national director chooses their Person of the Year, someone who embodies Slow Food values.
UK Winner indicates overall winner for the UK in addition to the nation award.

Person of the Year (Joint UK Winner): Pam Rodway MBE (pictured)
The late Pam Rodway and her husband Nick were organic farmers and passionate campaigners for Sustainable Food Production and Food Education in Scotland. She was a long term member of Slow Food, was a founding trustee of Slow Food Scotland and established the Scottish office of the Soil Association. Through her work with Crofting Connections and the Food for Life project she travelled the country to promote improvements in school meals and general education about local good food growing. On the farm, in addition to providing organic produce for local shops and restaurants, it also gave training, work and volunteering opportunities for local people, especially young people.
Nominated by Walter Mowat, Director Slow Food Scotland
