For the first time in five years, the whole Slow Food Movement in the UK will gather together to celebrate our achievements, plot a way forward and debate the future of food and food movements.
In this year of Slow Food’s 30th anniversary, how can we tackle the food issues of the next five years and beyond?
We are delighted that Paolo di Croce, General Secretary of Slow Food International, will be speaking. We’ll also welcome Elisa Demichelis, our representative at Slow Food International, who many within the Slow Food network will know from her unstinting support of the UK.
The event will take place on Saturday 18th January 2020 at Mary Ward House, Bloomsbury, W1CH 9SN which is in central London.
12:30 Arrival with tea and coffee. You are suggested to have an early lunch before arrival.
13:00 Welcome and a review of the last five years, and the setting of our future priorities.
13:30 The Directors from each of the four UK nations will tell the story of their first five years.
