Located on a small English country estate in the idyllic Cotswold village of Southrop on the border of Oxfordshire, Thyme is a quintessentially English destination.

A place to stay comprising boutique hotel bedrooms, cottage suites and cottages; beautiful event spaces for impeccable parties; a state of the art cookery school; and a 17th century village pub – The Swan at Southrop – with its award winning restaurant.

Thyme’s beautiful kitchen gardens and farm follow the River Leach through the estate and is the beating heart of the estate.  We pride ourselves on our seasonal menus, inspired by the quality of our produce: Southrop lamb; our hen, goose & quail eggs; heritage & heirloom varieties of fruit and vegetables.

When produce cannot be sourced from the estate we have the extensive Cotswold larder of local suppliers and producers to ensure that the food at Thyme, our Cookery School and The Swan at Southrop is perfect for our guests.
