Primal Cut makes proper, award winning, gluten free sausages from delicious, fresh, free range pork. We produce all our sausages from our artisan kitchen in the village of Burley-in-Wharfedale (West Yorkshire) where we create bespoke varieties of honest sausage from our hand-blended seasoning mixes and primal cuts of pork.

Our unique range of award winning, artisan crafted , gluten free sausages never compromise on quality or taste and are gaining a loyal following at local and real food farmers markets where we sell each week.

The company was founded by Michael Oliver a passionate foodie on a mission to bring back proper sausages to Yorkshire and beyond. Michael trained with Alex Chambers at Squisito and found common ground with Alex in their shared love of fresh local ingredients and slow food principles.


Our aim is to help as many people as possible find and eat a proper sausage. Our values are simple, we believe in great tasting, honest food and the shared pleasure that eating well can bring. We hope to inspire you daily to celebrate life round the kitchen table through eating our sausages and good food.
