Old Granary Pierogi

Old Granary Pierogi has developed from our passion for cooking and eating good wholesome food. We’re a Polish family that has chosen to settle in wonderful rural Herefordshire, embracing British cuisine and infusing it with our Polish culinary knowledge and heritage. Pierogi is a traditional, hearty Polish dish which resembles Italian ravioli when boiled or the traditional Cornish pasty when baked. The baked pierogi we specialise in, are hand crafted in yeast dough cases, hand rolled and stuffed with a variety of meaty and vegetarian fillings with many ingredients being organic and free-range and sourced or foraged locally. For the baked pierogi we use our great-grandmother’s recipe for an enriched dough and we cook all the fillings from scratch. For all those suffering from the gluten-intolerance, we have adapted the recipe, creating a gluten-free range of our baked pierogi too.

Our bakery/kitchen is situated in the village of  Marden, 10B Walkers Green, HR1 3DN. As well as selling directly from the bakery, we do mail orders, pre-arranged deliveries, private and corporate events and you can also find us at many renowned food festivals and shows.
