Following on from the acclaimed Pakistani cookbook, Summers under the Tamarind Tree, Slow Food Glasgow member, Sumayya Usmani follows up with her countries incredible range of desserts and sweet treats.

From delectable pistachio ice-cream (which we have been making all day on the sunny Spring Tuesday) to sticky Halva and Jalebis (Fermented doughnuts in a tumeric infused syrup)

The book is beautifully shot and contains dozens of recipes which we haven’t ever seen before (even in a variation).
