Five years ago she opened The Kingham Plough with her husband Miles, as a place they would like to go: excellent modern British food in a relaxed and comfortable environment with beautiful and comfortable bedrooms upstairs.

The food gained so much attention that it has featured in local, national and international press and has been awarded numerous accolades including a Bib Gourmand from the Michelin guide. AA Gill even says that you should go to The Kingham Plough to see ‘the gold standard’ they set for all others.

The kitchen remains true to its ethos and serves only locally sourced ingredients where possible. It even celebrates the vast array of local produce with a food festival and farmers market in May every year.

The food is surprising: it may read simply on the menu, but expect to be impressed by the special touches and additions created by talented chefs using fantastic ingredients.
