Slow Food UK and Grana Padano Promoting Small Suppliers

This November, Slow Food UK worked with Grana Padano in hosting stalls showcasing a wonderful array of smaller producers at MasterChef Live 2011 in London and the BBC Good Food Show in Birmingham.

Our Slow Food Pavilion featured fantastic exhibitors demonstrating commitment to food that is good, clean and fair. At the Slow Food UK table, our staff talked about the Slow Food movement and answered questions about Slow Food and Slow Food UK. We also treated visitors to amazing samples of Grana Padano cheese, which is a wonderful hardened cheese–one of history’s first!

We at Slow Food UK are delighted to be working with Grana Padano in showcasing small producers in Britain, such as The Blackface Meat Company, whose product line includes Iron Age pork and Scottish venison.
