Slow Food UK Chef Alliance

Slow Food UK has developed the Chef Alliance to engage British chefs in actively supporting our aims by championing small scale producers, good quality local and sustainably produced food.

The Chef Alliance represents the importance of  supporting small-scale producers involved in our Forgotten Foods programme. We encourage  our chefs to use seasonal Forgotten Foods in their menus and with this help the producers to defend our edible biodiversity. Along the way we have been receiving some impressive press coverage, such as this piece in the Caterer and Hotelkeeper and  this article at Chef Magazine.

Slow Food UK is delighted that so many restaurants have come on board with this project and find it rewarding to put chef and producers together to make unique and delicious menus that make a difference.

We are very proud to have Richard Corrigan as the founding member of the SFUK Chef Alliance and our Spokesperson for the project.

The Chef Alliance is continuously growing! If you wish to receive more information on how to partner with Slow Food UK to support the programme, please get in touch via chefalliance@slowfood.org.uk.
