Slow Food UK has developed the Chef Alliance in partnership with Highland Park, as recognition for those chefs who champion and share our vision that all food should taste great, should be environmentally sustainable and that producers should be paid a fair wage.

Established in 1798 on Orkney, Highland Park is one of the most remote Scotch whisky distilleries in the world. For over 200 years, the distillery has combined time old tradition and the very best craftsmanship to achieve an ideal product, made with a commitment to heritage and flavour. Its range of single malts is consistently acclaimed by connoisseurs. As a result Highland Park has won a string of prestigious awards in the craft.

Sharing similar values to those which Slow Food espouses, Highland Park promotes a passion for whisky and the importance of taste. Made using only the finest ingredients, which are responsibly sourced and managed, Highland Park is made for people who understand and respect whisky and are ‘fans of flavour’.  Highland Park remains one of the only single malt distilleries which has stayed true to the traditional approach to whisky making, complementing its uniqueness.

Slow Food UK is proud to partner with Highland Park to work with chefs who delight in working with food that is good, clean and fair.
