Slow Food UK Events 2010

There are many interesting and varied Slow Food events taking place across the country throughout the year, including everything from markets to producer visits to talks, taste workshops and convivial meals. The events listed below are just a sample of what’s on offer during the next couple of months. To find an event near you, please contact your local group leader. You are welcome at any Slow Food event, anywhere in the country at any time, so please do go along, find out more about the movement, how you can become involved, and meet like-minded people committed to promoting ‘good, clean and fair’ food.

REGULAR EVENTS

Bristol Slow Food Market:

The Award winning Bristol  Slow Food Market is held on the first Sunday of every month on Corn Street in the centre of Bristol.  Started in 2004, the market was the first regular Slow Market in the world.  The market is organised by Slow Food Bristol in partnership with Bristol City Council’s Markets Office and together they are committed to increasing its size and range. 

Markets for 2010 are:

7 March, 4 April, 2 May, 6 June, 4 July, 1 August, 5 September, 3 October, 7 November, 5 December
